sofía mastai

Sofía Mastai was born on June 10, 1983 in Barcelona, ​​Spain. From 2003 to 2007 she studies Design of Clothing and Image Consulting at Asociación de la Biblioteca de la Mujer, and has, since then, attended multiples seminars at different institutions such as Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and Fundación Cazadores and the National Museum of Fine Arts, all of them in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and also participated in workshops with prominent figures like Eduardo Stupia, Sergio Bazán, Silvia Gurfein, Margarita Gacía Faure, Cintia Fernández Padin and Tulio de Sagastizaba.


Her works were exhibited at Praxis Gallery, Holz Gallery, Croce, Kiwi Point and Diderot.Art. She has held multiple solo shows such as: “Genesis” at Borges Cultural Center, curated by Eduardo Stupía and Yuyo Noé (2019 - 2020); Open Studio at Diderot.art (2018); "En la casa de los papeles había una mesa de colores", curated by Margarita Garcia Faure and Stefy Jaugust (2018); "Ironía en Proceso". Kiwi Point (2017) and "Sofia Mastai". Club House (2016).
 

She has also taken part in numerous group exhibitions such as: “Suite in Blue”, curated by Sergio Bazan in INNOVA, Uruguay (2019); Open Studio Lapalma, curated by Cecilia Molina, La Fábrica (San Telmo, Argentina, 2019); "Nada Dulce", Fundación Cazadores (2018); "Tiempo Compartido", La Fábrica (2017); "Porque existen agujeron negros en el fondo del sueño" Panal (2016); "Open House / Workshop", CAT 5 (2016) and "No temas al color", together with Laura Missing and Curated by María Luisa Barril, Holz Gallery (2014).
