Lules Fiorenza (Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a self-taught artist and film director. As a visual artist for over 10 years, she has developed her career using collage as her primary medium. She creates abstract artworks by combining colored papers.
Throughout her career, she has participated in several collective exhibitions, including Hollywood in Cambodia (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Cosmiko Gallery (Buenos Aires), Centro Cultural Matienzo (Buenos Aires), and Laboratorio Festival (Buenos Aires).
For the realization of her work, she uses colored paper, scissors, and glue. She typically does not have a specific plan for what she will create; instead, the process unfolds organically. She begins by choosing a color palette and cutting shapes. The final composition emerges naturally as she moves and combines the shapes, colors, and forms.
Regularly, Lules merges old shapes, preserved from previous works, with new ones. Without a specific intention, this process creates a dialogue and connection among all her artworks, resulting in a cohesive and evolving artistic expression.
Currently, she is working on a project called “No Look,” which aims to question and generate discussion about the exposure of fashion on social media.
