​Lucía Spotorno was born in 1974 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she currently lives and works. She graduated from the Instituto Santa Ana, School of Fine Arts. She also took a course on engraving at the National Academy of Design in New York and attended various workshops and clinics with Valeria González, Carolina Antoniadis, Tulio de Sagastizábal, and María Luz Gil.

 

Spotorno has participated in numerous exhibitions, including individual shows such as: “El fin del invierno” at Fundacruz, Río Gallegos; “Instantánea” at ESEADE Art, and “Panorámica” at Galería del Infinito.

 

She has also taken part in several collective exhibitions, including: “Soy diamante” at the C.C. San José, Olavarría; “Artifici International Art Consultant”, Guatemala, and “Pop Art” at Galería Arte Consult, Panamá.

 

Additionally, Spotorno has participated in several art fairs across multiple countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, England, and the USA, such as: arteBA, ArtBO, Pinta, Scope, Arteaméricas, Art Rio and Affordable Art NY

 

Over the years she has also been selected to participate in several prestigious salons, including: Fernán Félix de Amador, Bienal AREATEC, Concurso Nacional UADE Artes Visuales, Salón Jóvenes Pintores and McDonald's Art Competition, among others

Her works are part of private collections in Argentina, the U.S.A., Italy, Austria, Brazil, Uruguay, Panamá and Colombia.
