Laura Ferro was born in 1985. She studied photography at the Escuela Argentina de Fotografía and the Escuela Creativa de Andy Goldstein. She also holds a degree in Psychology, with a specialization in Carl Jung.
Her work spans various mediums, including photography, video, writing, and installations. In 2018, she published her first book titled Lo salvaje apareció en mis sueños.
In 2019, she was granted a fellowship by the Fondo Nacional de las Artes for a photographic research project called Time is a Landscape, which was based on archival material.
In 2020, she was a finalist in the Latin American Photographers category and exhibited her work in Paris at Le Monde vu par les femmes d'Amérique Latine.
Today, she resides between Spain and Argentina, where she is currently conducting research for her next documentary project, exploring themes of territory, femininity, and the unnamed.
